Dave has been in the automotive service industry for more than 30 years, with more than 25 of those years working exclusively on BMWs. He began his career as one of the first graduates of BMW’s elite Service Technician Education Program. After graduating, Dave moved to the Pacific Northwest and spent 8 years at a local BMW dealership as a Master Technician and Shop Foreman. He then moved on to a local independent BMW repair shop, where he spent 7 years before starting Eastside Bavarian in 2003. Dave manages all business related aspects of Eastside Bavarian and is always available to serve his team and his customers. Dave’s commitment to his trade is unwavering and you can still see him in the shop working on cars and providing guidance and support to all. Dave resides in Issaquah with his wife Teri; they have two sons, Michael and Mark. In his spare time Dave enjoys off-road biking, hiking, boating, water sports and just about anything involving the outdoors and sunshine!
Don joined Eastside Bavarian in 2011. With more than 20 years in the auto body field, Don brings the attention to detail needed to run an efficient parts department and fully support the technical team at Eastside Bavarian. Don is a native Washingtonian, still residing in his home town of Snoqualmie. Don has two sons, enjoys music, hiking, and restoring vintage cars.
Prior to joining Eastside Bavarian, Kevin spent time at local dealerships, where he worked in both parts and service departments. Kevin enjoys a challenge and has a strong desire to learn. As a former member of the National Guard, he subscribes to the “always ready, always there” code, demonstrated in his dedication to his customers and his craft. In addition to his BMW training, he continues to advance his skills by attending continuing education classes. Kevin is a native Washingtonian, still residing in his hometown of Snoqualmie and loves to drive – any vehicle, any motorcycles, any time.
Mathew joined the Team in 2016. In addition to spending more than 5 years at a local dealership, attending Lake Washington Technical College and the VW Academy (a VW Certified Technician), Mathew has years of customer service experience. This combination of technical expertise and training, his pride in quality craftsmanship along with a strong commitment to customer service, lend to the strength of Team Eastside Bavarian. Mathew is a native of WA, enjoys computer coding, BMW’s and VW’s, and spending time with family and friends.
Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to the Eastside Bavarian Team. He graduated from the Universal Technical Institute in 1996, then attended BMW’s S.T.E.P. Program (graduating in 1997) and achieved BMW Master Technician status. Before joining Eastside Bavarian in 2010, he spent 13 years at the local BMW dealership. Mark’s extensive technical training, years of experience, and his incredible attention to detail are of immense value to Eastside Bavarian. He is dedicated to his profession and provides outstanding service to all. Mark is married with one daughter. He enjoys hiking, mountain biking, his pets, and reading.
James joined Eastside Bavarian in 2005, while still enrolled in Lake Washington Technical College. He earned his Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Automotive Repair Technician in 2006, and continues to hone his skills by attending continuing education classes. Hailing from Vermont, James enjoys the great outdoor activities of the Pacific Northwest, like hiking, skiing, snowboarding and cross fit. In his free time, he likes to spend time with family and enjoys classic trucks.
Ryan is no stranger to customer service. He started his service career with Starbucks, where he served as a shift supervisor. He also grew up around the automotive industry, including racing ATVs. Ryan’s training and time with one of the world’s premier service providers, his knowledge of automobiles, as well as his dedication to service excellence, provide a great balance for his role as a Service Advisor. A native Washingtonian and HUGE Husky fan, Ryan brings great enthusiasm to the team. Ryan is married and has to young sons. He enjoys time with his family, all sports, the outdoors, and anything Husky.
Ben joined the team in 2006, has been mentored by our talented team of Master technicians, and continues his pursuit by attending continuing education classes in automotive repair. Prior to the automotive service industry, Ben spent time as a software and hardware tester. He tested games for a number of local software development companies. His talents as a software tester – detailed, analytical, and creative, are all critical to his abilities as a technician. Ben is married, enjoys hiking, travel, driving, and gaming.
Ken has been with Eastside Bavarian since the beginning, joining the team in early 2004, just a few short months after opening. Ken has spent most of his career in the automotive service industry, with some 3 years at the local BMW dealership and 21 years with Sears Automotive. Ken knows, appreciates and values the importance of quality service, and dedicates himself to the total customer experience. Ken lives in Bellevue with his wife and their two youngest of his five children. Ken is active in his church, and enjoys music, sports and a hosting a great BBQ for his family and friends.
Eric brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, skill and talent to the team. Starting with aircrafts, Eric served as a Crew Chief in the USAF for both the T 37 and T 43, the Air Force’s navigation training aircraft, setting the foundation for his strong diagnostic skills and meticulous attention to detail. Before joining the team at Eastside Bavarian, he spent more than 11 years at BMW dealerships, where he achieved BMW Master Technician status, and prior to that he spent 6 years at an independent shop specializing in German automobiles. Originally from the SF Bay Area, Dave and Eric even attended the same middle school. Eric is married, has one son, enjoys the outdoors, is a fitness enthusiast, and musician.
